3.78 € – 4.73 € excl. VAT
Sencha is a tea that originated from Japan, but it’s cultivated for a massive scale in China (that’s why it’s considered a Japanese type tea). Senchas leaves usually come from early harvesting and leaves cultivated in China are more delicate than their Japanese counterparts.
Sencha has long, flat leaves that increase their size after brewing. It gives a slightly “grassy” flavored and green-yellow colored drink. The first brew is intense and might be a little bitter, but the next ones have a sweet flavor.
Sencha has many health-promoting properties. Its leaves consists of vitamin C, antioxidiants, which neutralize free radicals. Sencha cleanses your organism, has anti-cancer properties and stimulates your energy.
It can be brewed several times, but you have to remember that you should increase brewing time after every brew. The first brewing should be 1,5-2 minutes long. Temperature around 65-75°C.
