Honduras La Campa Lempira
Price range: 4.24 € through 27.66 € excl. VAT
Campa Lempira is a Honduran coffee with a full flavour and chocolate-and-biscuit notes.
The coffee is grown in the La Campa region, while the name Lempira refers to a Honduran hero from five centuries ago who bravely fought against the Spanish conquistadors. As a side note, Honduras’s currency is also called the lempira.
Our coffee is grown on a small farm located within Celaque National Park, at the foot of the mountain of the same name.
It is harvested and processed by hand, without the use of any machinery. In flavour and aroma, it resembles other fine Central American coffees: it has a full body and classic nutty notes, with hints of biscuits noticeable to some.
It is excellent for espresso and all milk-based coffees, but also tastes superb as a large black coffee. Highly recommended!
